Most post-secondary options require that students take an entrance test of some sort. What type of post-secondary option you choose to pursue determines what test you should take.
- Students who are interested in attending a two year or four year
college should begin taking the ACT or SAT by the winter/spring of
their junior year.
- Students who plan to attend a technical college, should prepare to
take the ASSET or COMPASS after applying to the technical school
of their choice. Students must arrange to take the COMPASS at the
technical school they are planning to attend.
